Cassie’s skill and experience in the kitchen are mixed with a heaping dose of imagination and an appetite for new flavors.

Cassie studied culinary nutrition and graduated from the chef’s training program at The Natural Gourmet Institute, NYC. After working as a private chef preparing healing meals for individuals and diverse communities, she founded and operated Pomegranate Café, an organic plant-based eatery and neighborhood favorite in Phoenix, AZ for over a decade.

Cassie follows and teaches a whole-foods plant-based lifestyle. As the Wellness Education Coordinator at Desert Garden Montessori, Cassie inspires children of all ages to nurture a healthy relationship with food, their bodies & Mother Earth.

Cassie is now on a journey to become a Certified Nutrition Specialist. She has obtained a Plant Based Nutrition Certificate through T. Colin Campbell’s eCornell program and is a Food Revolution Network Certified Plant-Based Coach. She is studying for her Masters Degree in Nutrition and Integrative Health.
